AS/COA's Eric Farnsworth said Trump's comments on Venezuela have become an unwanted distraction on WNYC's "The Takeaway".

Changes in Venezuela's oil industry could influence jobs at oil refineries in Louisiana and Texas, a "sensitive issue for those legislators" says AS/COA's Eric Farnsworth. 

As Maduro calls for a new dialogue after the Lima Declaration, AS/COA's Eric Farnsworth says there's little reason to think a new dialogue would be any different.
