"(Argentina's Economy Minister Sergio Massa) will need to win over some more moderate voters in order to win," said AS/COA's Brian Winter to AP.

The economy minister surpassed expectations, while the libertarian failed to improve on his August performance.

 "A few weeks ago, no one would have bet that [Sergio] Massa had a chance to be president," says the AS/COA senior advisor.
