Edward J. Sullivan, the guest curator of America Society's exhibition Observed, spoke to photographer Milagros de la Torre about the artistic practices she has employed over the course of her career.

Review 82 “Cuba Inside and Out,” guest-edited by José Manuel Prietoand Anke Birkenmaier, compiles a creative section of texts by Cuban writers representing various generations, aesthetics, countries of residence, and positions vis-à-vis mainstream culture; and an academic section of articles by leading Cuban and U.S. scholars on a breadth of topics including a study of iconic Cuban writers and new media in Cuban literature today.

Americas Society released a fully illustrated publication about the exhibition Arturo Herrera: Les Noces (The Wedding), which explored the relationship between abstraction, animation, modern dance, and music. The catalogue features essays by Nuit Banai, Lynn Garafalo, and Gabriela Rangel, as well as interviews with Herrera, Christopher Newton, and Dame Monica Mason.
