AS/COA Healthcare Series
AS/COA's Healthcare Series addresses key challenges and growing opportunities in healthcare across Latin America. The healthcare agenda covers a diverse range of topics including pharmaceuticals, food and beverages, medical devices, healthy living and wellness, technology, financing, and insurance. The aim of the series is to promote public-private cooperation, increase awareness of medical technologies and innovation, encourage regulatory harmonization and collaboration, and share best practices in health financing.
The series have focused on sustainable healthcare systems, the importance of innovation and e-health in providing equitable and efficient care, and the need to focus mental health, screening, and NCDs.
The series provide a platform for COA corporate members to engage with key stakeholders on best practices in meeting the growing demand for access to quality healthcare, and creating innovative solutions that promote inclusion, competitiveness, and regional economic development.

1. Health as an Investment & System Sustainability
Position health as a core driver of economic growth and long-term resilience by advancing innovative financing, value-based care, and sustainable procurement models. Emphasize the role of innovation and access to high-quality treatments in improving outcomes while ensuring efficiency and fiscal sustainability.
2. Non-Communicable Diseases, Early Diagnosis & Integrated Care
Strengthen prevention and management of non-communicable diseases through early diagnosis and integrated care models. Address evolving demographic trends by scaling impactful initiatives and expanding focus to high-burden conditions that affect productivity and long-term health outcomes.
3. Public–Private Collaboration & Co-Creation
Foster structured, multi-stakeholder collaboration platforms that enable continuous dialogue, knowledge sharing, and joint action. Promote a co-creation model where public and private actors work together on agenda-setting, policy design, and implementation to maximize impact and reduce fragmentation.
