Brandon Judd was nominated by President Donald J. Trump and confirmed by the United States Senate on October 7, 2025, to serve as U.S. ambassador to the Republic of Chile. Ambassador Judd is committed to strengthening the 200-year diplomatic relationship between the United States and Chile. He will prioritize promoting safety, strength, and prosperity, with a focus on collaborative efforts to curb illegal immigration, combat transnational criminal organizations, enhance border security, and increase trade and investment.
