Julio Figueroa is the head of Citi in Latin America. Mr. Figueroa joined Citi in 1994 in Buenos Aires, Argentina in the Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) division. Since then, he had several roles within CIB in Buenos Aires (1994-2001), Miami (2001- 2004) and New York (2004-2010). In 2010, he returned to Argentina as CIB head. In 2014, he was appointed Citi chief country officer (CCO) in Peru. He took the role of Argentina CCO in 2016. From 2020 until his recent appointment as head of Latin America in October 2023, Mr.

Shu Nyatta is the co-founder and managing partner of Bicycle Capital, a new firm with $0.5B of capital, focused on investments in growth-stage technology companies in Latin America. From March 2015 until April 2022, Shu served in multiple senior investment roles at SoftBank Vision Fund and SoftBank Group International.

María Luisa Hayem Brevé has over 20 years of experience in trade, financial inclusion, and economic development. She began her career in 2003 as counselor of the Permanent Mission of El Salvador to the World Trade Organization (WTO) in Geneva, Switzerland.

Guillermo Monroy has more than 25 years of experience in sustainability, compliance, risk management, communications, human resources, and public relations. He has worked in a range of industries, including cement, construction, mining, agrochemicals, energy, and healthcare, as well as in government.

He is currently the corporate citizenship manager at Progreso, overseeing public relations, corporate communications, and sustainability.

Guillermo Garza Martínez is currently the chief public affairs, communications and sustainability officer of Arca Continental, one of the most important bottlers of the Coca-Cola System worldwide, with almost 100 years in operation, and the only Latin American bottler operating in the US.

John Medina is a senior vice president in Moody’s Ratings Global Project and Infrastructure Finance Team where he leads a diverse portfolio of project financings in digital, power and energy, transportation, social, and environmental infrastructure. John leads Moody’s Ratings global data center analytical coordination for research and outreach efforts. John engages directly with private and public credit market participants on new rating engagements for new project financings in all asset classes with a focus on new construction and esoteric financing structures.

Alejandro “Alec” Oxenford is the ambassador of the Republic of Argentina to the United States. An experienced entrepreneur, investor, and arts patron, Oxenford earned an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the Catholic University of Argentina.

Percy Moreira is CEO at Itaú USA and Head of International Private Bank, responsible for the wealth management offshore operations of the bank. Percy joined the company in 2014, having occupied important leadership positions at Itaú BBA, overseeing all the Fixed Income distribution teams globally, covering 400+ institutional investors, and acting as CEO of the Itaú BBA New York Securities responsible for the supervision of operations. His professional experience in the finance industry encompasses 25 years of experience in Emerging Markets sales.

Marcos Lima is the head of Sustainable Finance at Banco BV, with 13 years of professional experience 6 years in the automotive industry and 7 years in the financial sector. He holds a degree in Environmental and Sanitary Engineering from UMSP, an MBA in Data Science from FIA Business School, and an Executive MBA in Finance and Investment Banking from USP. Recognized as a “Rising Star Under 30” by Environmental Finance in 2024, he leads innovative projects and sustainable solutions at the bank, becoming a national reference in sustainable finance.

José Guilherme Silva Amato is an economist, graduated from the University of São Paulo (USP), with a Master’s degree in Energy from Unicamp and an Executive MBA in Leadership and Management from Saint Paul Business School. He is currently a Commercial Manager at Auren Energia, responsible for the Carbon and Data Center business areas. With over 12 years of experience in the power sector, he has worked in portfolio management for generation and consumption, and since 2022 has been dedicated to the development of carbon markets and solutions for the energy transition.
