Ambassador Louise Blais was Canada’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York from 2017-2021.  During this time since, she also served as Vice President on UNICEF’s Executive Board.

Louise Blais began her professional career as an Art Theft Analyst at Interpol. She then managed the Development Program at the National Archives of Canada before joining the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade in 1996.

Carmen Gisela Vergara Mas is an expert in international trade law, business development, trade negotiations, integration and trade Facilitation, with more than 25 years of professional experience in Panama and across Latin America.

Federico Muxí is a managing director and senior partner at Boston Consulting Group. He leads BCG's overall business in Spanish South America and also the firm's Financial Institutions practice area for Iberia and South America.

Amparo Mercader is a partner with PwC’s Tax practice and serves as the transfer pricing leader for the Carolinas.

Amparo has more than 17 years of experience working in the transfer pricing area.

She advises multinational companies on matters related to determining, evaluating, and documenting intercompany pricing arrangements. She manages the transfer pricing documentation process for large companies, managing global teams and establishing that high-quality service is delivered in all countries.

Ariel Yépez-García is the manager of the Infrastructure and Energy sector at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). Previously, Mr. Yépez-García was the Energy Division Chief at the IDB. In this position, he led the implementation of energy projects to promote energy transition, decarbonization, and sustainable development in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Beth Urbanas is the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Asia and the Americas at the Office of International Affairs in the U.S. Department of Energy. Ms. Urbanas is responsible for managing DOE’s bilateral and multilateral engagement with Asian and American countries. She is also responsible for DOE's work in several multilateral fora including the North American Leaders' Summit, the Energy and Climate Partnership of the Americas, and APEC.
