Carlos Díaz de la Garza is the country manager for Mexico and the Commercial Head for North LatAm focused on building new relationships and promoting Moody’s Corporate and Social Responsibility Initiatives. Prior to joining Moody’s, he worked for Scotiabank as managing director for corporate banking and head of global loan syndications for Mexico. He has vast experience in project finance, M&A, syndications and structured finance. Earlier in his career, he worked for BankBoston and for the National Bank of Public Works and Services.

Narciso Campos is part of the Global Capital Markets Practice. His practice focuses on advising financial institutions on complex regulatory matters. He also has extensive experience in banking financings, capital markets and mergers & acquisitions transactions.

Laurentino Cortizo Cohen is President of the Republic of Panama.

He was born in Panama on January 30, 1953. He studied secondary school at Colegio La Salle in Nicaragua.. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Norwich in the United States. He has a PhD in International Trade and Marketing, from the University of Texas.

Es Licenciada en Relaciones Internacionales y Maestra en Cooperación Internacional para el Desarrollo. Actualmente, es Titular de la Unidad de Inteligencia Económica Global, dentro de la Subsecretaria de Comercio Exterior de la Secretaría de Economía. Anteriormente fue Administradora Central de Programas Operativos con Entidades Federativas, en la Administración General de Recaudación, del Servicio de Administración Tributaria. En esta misma institución también estuvo al frente de la Administración Central de Promoción y Vigilancia del Cumplimiento.

Valeria Moy is a prominent Mexican economist and public policy expert, currently serving as the General Director of the Mexican Institute for Competitiveness (IMCO), a leading think tank dedicated to enhancing Mexico's economic and social competitiveness. Under her leadership since 2020, IMCO has advanced critical discussions on energy, labor markets, competitiveness, and gender in the economy . Moy holds a degree in Economics from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) and a postgraduate degree in Management from the London School of Economics.

Luis Fernando Helguero is the Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism of Peru. He previously served as Vice Minister of Tourism in 2006.

Appointed minister of foreign affairs as of May 8, 2026, Manuel Tovar previously served as minister of foreign trade from May 2022 to May 2026, a period during which he led Costa Rica’s strategy for integration into the global economy and efforts to attract foreign direct investment. During his tenure, the country strengthened its presence in international markets, concluded new trade agreements, including with Ecuador, the United Arab Emirates, and Israel, and advanced its accession to the CPTPP, DEPA, and ACCTS.

Brian A. Nichols became Assistant Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs on September 15, 2021. Assistant Secretary Nichols previously served as the U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Zimbabwe from 2018 to 2021. In that role, he promoted democracy, rule of law and human rights in Zimbabwe while managing multi-dimensional humanitarian crises brought on by corruption, climate change, and the COVID-19 pandemic.
