Víctor (Ito) Bisonó Haza, minister of Industry and Commerce of the Dominican Republic since August 16, 2020, is a prominent political leader who was elected as a National Congressman on four occasions, between 2002 and 2020. In this role, he chaired the Commission on Economy, Planning, and Development and was a member of the Industry, Commerce, and Finance commissions. Additionally, he served twice as a member of the National Council of the Judiciary.
