Sebastián Barrios joined Mercado Libre in 2020 as technology senior vice president. In his role, Sebas leads all cross-technology teams including Infrastructure, Cloud & Platform, Architecture, Mobile, BI, Machine Learning and UX, among others. 

Sebas developed his entire career as an entrepreneur in the world of technology, founded two companies in Mexico: Zeb Studios and Yaxi, which he sold to Cabify. His last experience was at Cabify where he worked for the last 3 years as CTO at the headquarters in Spain. 

Cristián Carafí is a Managing Director and Partner at Boston Consulting Group (BCG). He leads the People & Organization, and Travel, Cities & Infrastructure practices for Spanish-speaking South America (Chile, Argentina, Peru, Colombia, and Central America). He also heads the Consumer practice in the Southern Cone. 

Since joining BCG in 2007, he has advised world-leading companies on unlocking growth, driving digital transformation, and developing people strategies and human resources operating models across multiple geographies. 

Vivianne Rodrigues is the Bloomberg News executive editor for Emerging Markets, a position she has held since the start of 2023. She oversees a team of 22 reporters and editors across the Middle East, Africa, Eastern Europe and Latin America as well as London and New York, directing and organizing coverage of major market-moving events. Ms. Rodrigues started her journalism career at Bloomberg in São Paulo, prior to moving to New York as an Emerging Markets and US Treasuries reporter.

Stephen Remedios is a partner and associate director in the People Strategy practice of Boston Consulting Group. He has more than 22 years of experience having done line and staff roles in leading multinational organizations. Professionally, he focuses on coaching, training, enablement, and leadership development in both the public and private sectors. 

Stephen holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and an MBA from XIMB. He is a certified coach and has over 1000 hours of senior coaching experience. 

Annali Duarte is a managing director and head of Global Payments Solutions (GPS) for Latin America at Bank of America. In this role, Annali is responsible for creating and executing the regional strategy for a suite of transaction banking solutions including payments, receivables, liquidity, and trade and supply chain finance to large corporates and financial institutions operating in Latin America. Working closely with the technology and operations teams, Annali oversees the end-to-end delivery of GPS solutions to clients in Latin America.

Aitor Jauregui is Head of Latin America for BlackRock, responsible for all of the firm’s activities in the region. Mr. Jauregui's service with BlackRock dates back to 2011. Prior to his current role, he was the Country Manager of Iberia (Spain, Portugal and Andorra) and a member of the EMEA Executive Committee. Mr. Jauregui has held various leadership roles, including Head of Business Activity for the Iberia region.

Carlos "Ucho" Barrera is currently the CEO of Atlas Renewable Energy, a leading Renewable Energy company with operations in the Americas that is currently one of the largest solar IPPs in the region. Atlas started operations in early 2017 after a successful MBO backed by Actis, a prominent investor in the energy sector and emerging markets space. Since then, it has grown to nearly 4 GW of contracted projects and to an enterprise value exceeding $3 billion.

Nick Berger is a managing director and member of the Transition Capital team within BlackRock's Equity Private Markets group (EPM), where he leads sourcing, capital formation, product strategy, and thought leadership efforts related to the transition to a low-carbon economy.

Soraya Sáenz de Santamaría is also an expert in national security and geopolitics. She advises companies on the new Spanish regime for foreign investment in strategic sectors. The regime includes critical infrastructure technology, energy, defense and other essential sectors of activity. 

She is a member of the Spanish Council of State since 2018. She is State lawyer since 1998. 

Edward J. Sullivan is the Helen Gould Shepard professor in the history of art at the Institute of Fine Arts and College of Arts and Sciences, New York University. A prominent scholar and curator in the field of modern and contemporary Latin American and Caribbean art, Sullivan is the author of numerous books and exhibition catalogs in this area.
