Luis Fernando Helguero is the Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism of Peru. He previously served as Vice Minister of Tourism in 2006.

Brian A. Nichols became Assistant Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs on September 15, 2021. Assistant Secretary Nichols previously served as the U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Zimbabwe from 2018 to 2021. In that role, he promoted democracy, rule of law and human rights in Zimbabwe while managing multi-dimensional humanitarian crises brought on by corruption, climate change, and the COVID-19 pandemic.

David Turk is the Deputy Secretary of Energy. Prior to his nomination as Deputy Secretary, Turk was the Deputy Executive Director of the International Energy Agency (IEA), where he focused on helping countries around the world tackle their clean energy transitions. He also directed reports on the digitalization of energy systems, the future of clean hydrogen, and a project tracking progress on a wide range of clean energy technologies.

Bill Hagerty is a United States Senator from Tennessee, elected to the U.S. Senate in 2020 and is currently serving his first term representing the state of Tennessee. His committee assignments include: U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, & Urban Affairs; U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations; U.S. Senate Committee on Appropriations; and the U.S. Senate Committee on Rules & Administration. Prior to his election to the U.S. Senate, Hagerty served as the U.S.

Dr. Bill Cassidy is the senior United States Senator for Louisiana. Bill grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and attended Louisiana State University (LSU) for undergraduate and medical school. In 1990, Bill joined LSU Medical School teaching medical students and residents at Earl K. Long Hospital, a hospital for the uninsured.

Manuela Uribe se unió a Medtronic en 2011 y asumió su rol como gerente de país para Puerto Rico y Caribe en agosto de 2022 — siendo la primera mujer en ocupar dicho cargo. Durante su carrera en Medtronic ha dirigido diversas áreas del negocio como cuidado renal, soluciones quirúrgicas, terapias de neuromodulación, y soluciones de hemodinamia, entre otros. En su último rol como directora de la División de Hemodinamia para Medtronic Colombia, ella logró un sólido crecimiento en el portafolio cardiovascular.

Es abogada de la Universidad Iberoamericana con un diplomado en Comu- nicación Política por el Instituto de Investigaciones Sociales de la UNAM y un Diplomado en Alta Dirección por IPADE. Cuenta con estudios del Instituto La- tinoamericano para la Gerencia de Organizaciones Empresariales (ILGO) de Costa Rica, una certificación de Competencias para Directivos de Organismos Empresariales de la Organización Internacional del Trabajo y el Instituto de Desarrollo Empresarial de la Universidad Anáhuac. Cursó los programas U.S.

Susan Segal was elected President and CEO of Americas Society/Council of the Americas in 2003 after having worked in the private sector with Latin America and other emerging markets for over 30 years. Prior to her appointment, Susan was a partner at Chase Capital Partners/JPMorgan Partners focusing on private equity in Latin America and pioneering early-stage venture capital investing in the region.
