Overview

Chile: Toward Sustainable Economic Growth

Americas Society/Council of the Americas, in partnership with the Chilean Ministry of Finance, will host the fifteenth Latin American Cities Conference in Santiago on Thursday, October 20. This conference will bring together distinguished leaders from the public and private sectors from both Chile and the region to discuss Chile’s economic outlook, the agenda for sustainable growth, as well as the growth prospects for Chile and Latin America in the midst of a challenging global scenario. Moreover, the program will include discussions on the tax reform bills introduced by President Gabriel Boric’s administration, which aim to promote investment, productivity, and innovation in the country. The audience will comprise of members from both local and international businesses, government officials, NGOs, and the press.
