Brian Latell has been a Latin America and Caribbean specialist since the 1960s. During his 35 years of service in the CIA and the National Intelligence Council, he advised White House and other ranking American officials and members of Congress on Latin American developments. He teaches, lectures, consults, and writes, especially on Cuba and foreign intelligence matters. He has frequently advised U.S. and foreign government policy making organizations and leaders, including presidents and ministers. In the late 1960s he served as a U.S.

Beto Veríssimo is an agronomic engineer and tropical ecologist. He is the co-founder of Imazon and program director at the Amazon Entrepreneurship Center (Centro de Empreendedorismo da Amazônia). Veríssimo is also an affiliated scholar at Princeton University's Brazil Lab.

Denis Benchimol Minev is the CEO of Bemol, a retailer in northern Brazil, and an angel investor in sustainable Amazon projects. He is also the co-founder and a member of the board of Fundação Amazonas Sustentável. In 2012, Minev was chosen as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum. He previously served as the state secretary for planning and economic development of Amazonas state and was an analyst at Goldman Sachs. Minev holds a BA in economics and an MA in Latin American studies from Stanford University and an MBA from the Wharton School.

Marina Grossi is the president of the Brazilian Business Council for Sustainable Development (CEBDS), a position she has held since 2010. She is currently a member of the following boards/advisory councils: Neoenergia Institute, Amazon JBS Fund, Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Carbon Disclosure Project for Latin America-CDP, FIES Banco Itaú Unibanco, and Council Network of Women Brazilian Leaders in Sustainability.

Andrea Álvares is the chief brand, innovation, international, and sustainability officer and a member of the executive committee at Natura. Previously, she held general manager, marketing and strategy roles at Pepsico and P&G. Álvares is a board member of the Executive Committee of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) and an emeritus advisor of the Conscious Capitalism Institute of Brazil.

Hector is Medtronic's current Vice President for Northern Latin America (Mexico and Central America), previously held the same position in Southern Latin America. He also held the position of General Director of Puerto Rico in the same company. At Medtronic he has held positions such as Vice President of CariCam in Puerto Rico and Commercial Director of MITG (Minimally Invasive Therapies Group) in Mexico. Likewise, he has held other positions such as Business Management and Commercial Management.

Gabriela Zapata is a strategic advisor on financial inclusion and financial health in Latin America to private and public institutions, including many fintech companies. She currently works on projects with BFA Global, CGAP, the MetLife Foundation, and the office of Queen Máxima of the Netherlands who is the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development (UNSGSA).
