The Americas Society's exhibition "highlights the dialogues and exchanges between artists and their peers," says the art website.

The newspaper says that El Dorado: Myths of Gold "confirms the valuable scholarly work being done by small institutions outside the mainstream."

The director and chief curator of art at Americas Society is included in the publication's "Curators to Watch" article.

The newspaper describes Americas Society's show as "intriguing" and says that it illuminates "important histories of Asian and Asian American art."

The exhibit "gives us insight into the experience of Asian people in Latin America and the Caribbean," says the art publication. 

The website quotes AS/COA's Maria Lourdes Teran: "The level of leadership we see at this Symposium underscores the importance of pushing for new ideas."
