"Nobody believed that Bolsonaro would ever become the next president of Brazil," said the AS/COA vice president.

"I'd like a lot more attention to be paid to the region, and this Summit will hopefully bring some of that attention," said the AS/COA vice president.

"We have to make sure that we, the United States, are really helping to offer what the other countries are looking for," said the AS/COA vice president.
