En Casa: Mar María

Tuesday, October 13, 10 am

Mar María is a a Panamanian singer-songwriter whose project was born as a sonic sanctuary where soft melodies intertwine with Latin rhythms such as bossa nova, bolero, Latin pop, and MPB, creating an intimate space born from a quest for peace amidst the chaos. "Mar" represents calm and "María" embodies the strength of Latin women.

From Panama City, with Josué Pernett, we listen to "Al Mirar tus Ojos," a song that explores vulnerability and emotional connection from an intimate and honest perspective. With a melancholic and tender atmosphere, it describes the instant in which a glance can reveal profound feelings, nostalgia, and closeness without the need for words. The song combines sonic finesse with an emotional interpretation that invites us to connect with the idea of love.

En Casa: Cande Marzinotto

Friday, October 16, 10 am

Cande Marzinotto is a songwriter and educator born in Lomas de Zamora, Buenos Aires. Her songs move through various genres, with influences from Argentine and Andean folklore. In 2019, she recorded her first album Danzando en mi, the result of a long trip through Latin America. During the last seven years, she lived in Italy, where she founded Andanza, a duo with Diana Paiva Cruz. Together, they recorded a self-titled debut album.

From Merlo, San Luis, Argentina, accompanied by Gabriel Morán and Federico Vázquez, she sends us "Hacer espacio," a song that engages with the idea of reconnecting with your roots, integrating lived and learned experiences, and the road traveled to find them.
