En Casa: Gabriel Peri

Tuesday, October 27, 10 am

Gabriel Peri is a Brazilian singer, composer, musician, and audiovisual artist currently based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. His music moves between Brazilian songs, Latin American folk music, and contemporary sounds, creating a language marked by subtlety, nature, and human connection. In his work, Peri transforms experiences, affections, and internal processes into songs that celebrate time, life, and its constant transformations.

After projects like DonAntônia, A(MAR) and TERRA, a new artistic stage begins with the project Coisas orgânicas levam tempo, which brings together Latin-American music, image, and identity in a work constructed with calm, presence, and depth.

From Buenos Aires, Gabriel sends his song "Feito de vento." It is a song about movement, freedom, and ancestral strength. Inspired in images of the wind and the breeze, the music is about what cannot be contained: a force that traverses, transforms, and finds its own path. Between nature and spirituality, the song creates an atmosphere of lightness, resistance, and connection with its origins. It is a reflection on remaining in movement without losing essence—like the wind, which does not need form to exist, just space to continue.

En Casa: Ona

Friday, October 30, 10 am

Ona is an Uruguayan singer, pianist, producer, and DJ. In 2024, she presented her debut album Diáfana and is currently preparing her second record, Noctámbula, which blends electronic breakbeats with pop vocals. She has performed at venues such as the Teatro Solís and Sala Zitarrosa, and maintains an active career as a DJ, working between Montevideo and Buenos Aires. In 2026, she toured Europe with the support of the Ibermúsicas Fund, including performances at Monarch and Refuge Worldwide in Berlin.

Recorded in Berlin, Ona sends us "Aire," which she says was composed on the piano at her home. “Aire” speaks to a relationship or bond with another person—one that may be distant yet remains special and worth maintaining. The almost minimalist nature of some sections in the song remind us of the constant presence of air, like that relationship that even when not thought about is present and nurturing.
