On September 25, 2017, Mr. Gabriel Pablo Blasi joined Telecom as its chief financial officer. Mr. Blasi holds a degree in business administration from the Universidad de Buenos Aires, a graduate degree from the Universidad Austral (IAE), and a graduate degree in finance from the Universidad del CEMA (Centro de Estudios Macroeconómicos Argentinos). He started his career in 1981 at American Express and has over 20 years of experience working in banks, including the treasury at Citibank in Argentina and Lloyds Bank plc, among others.

Diana Mondino is the Minister of Foreign Affairs. She is an economist from the National University of Córdoba with a degree in Business Management from IESE Business School. Mondino has experience in risk assessment and market analysis and has served on the boards of companies like Pampa Energía, Banco Supervielle, and Loma Negra. She founded Risk Analysis, later acquired by Standard & Poor’s, where she served as Director for Latin America.

Jorge Macri is the Mayor of the City of Buenos Aires, serving since 2023. He previously held the position of Minister of Government of Buenos Aires and served three terms as mayor of Vicente López. Macri is a member of the Propuesta Republicana party. His tenure in Vicente López focused on education and security initiatives. He won the mayoral election in Buenos Aires with 49.3% of the vote.

Guillermo Francos is the Chief of the Cabinet of Ministers. He is a politician and lawyer with a degree from Universidad del Salvador. He has held various roles in the public and private sectors, including serving as a lawyer in the Ministry of Justice (1974 – 1978), National Deputy (1997 – 2000), president of Aeropuertos Argentina 2000, and president of Banco Provincia. He has also served as director of Visa Argentina, Corporación América, and Wilobank.

Victoria Volonte cuenta con significativa experiencia en Diseño e Implementación de Centros de Servicios Compartidos y proyectos de Definición y Reingeniería de Procesos, habiendo participado en equipos funcionales y técnicos. Asimismo, se ha desempeñado como Project Management Officer (PMO) habiendo trabajado en el diseño e implementación de Oficinas de Gestión de Proyectos realizando el monitoreo y seguimiento de proyectos, detección de problemas, planificación, análisis de desvíos y coordinación de actividades.

Marcos Buscaglia is an economist, former Wall Street analyst and Emerging Markets expert. He has more than 30 years doing research on the economies of Emerging Market countries and advising Wall Street companies. He is also emerging as a leading voice on the topic of markets and democracy. He was a speaker at the 2022 and the 2023 Oslo Freedom Forum on the impact of foreign investment on global human rights. 

Moises Vidal is a managing director, treasury sales executive based in Miami. He is responsible for leading treasury sales for Corporates & Multinationals in the Latin America region. His responsibilities include the development and execution of the overall market strategy, as well as the integration with other lines of business including Cash Management, Trade Finance, FX, and Liquidity sales efforts. 

Roberto Alvo is CEO of Latam Airlines Group, having assumed the role in April 2020. With over 18 years experience at LATAM, Roberto was previously chief commercial officer and has held various positions in the group with the responsibility for network, alliances and fleet strategy, cargo, IT, strategic planning and finance. Prior to joining LATAM, he worked at Chilean mining company Sociedad Quimica y Minera de Chile S.A. Roberto is a civil engineer and holds an MBA from IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Haim Israel is a managing director and global strategist who heads up the Global Thematic Research team. Prior to this, Israel was the head of Bank of America’s EEMEA Technology, Media and Telecommunication Research team. For the past four years, Israel and team have been ranked first in the Thematic Research and ESG – Integrated Climate Change teams in the Institutional Investor Extel Global Survey. Israel attained his MBA from The Hebrew University, Jerusalem, and also holds a dual major in Finance & Business. 

Joan Viñals is managing director and partner at BCG, and leader of People & Organization practice area for North Latam. He is also a core member of Boston Consulting Group’s Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) practice and leader of Growth Tech for Spanish-speaking South America.
