Across the LAC region, Alvaro holds responsibility over the markets and teams that manage Diageo’s leading portfolio of premier brands, including Johnnie Walker, Don Julio, Smirnoff, Tanqueray, and Baileys, in addition to local spirits like Ypioca cachaca.

Francisco de Blanco is founder and senior managing partner of a leading advisory company for sustainable fuels and feedstocks projects in LatAm. He has more than 15 years of experience in project development and project financing for global companies. He holds a Master’s degree in corporate finance & investment banking from FIA-SP and bachelor’s degree in business administration from PUCRS.

Germán Pedro Martínez is an Argentine politician who has been a National Deputy elected by the Frente de Todos in Santa Fe since 2019. A member of the Partido Justicialista, Martínez worked as a legislative aide for Agustín Rossi and Guillermo Carmona from 2005 to his own election to the Chamber of Deputies. Since 2022, he has been president of the Frente de Todos parliamentary bloc.

Victoria Villarruel is an Argentine lawyer, writer, activist, and politician who currently holds the position of national deputy. She is the founder of the civil association self-titled "Center for Legal Studies on Terrorism and its Victims" (CELTYV), of which she has been the president since its inception. 

Juan Farinati is the current CEO and Director of the Crop Science Division since 2021. Previously, he was the COO for the Agro Division. Farinati has worked for Bayer since 1999, adding significant value to the Crop Science business through international experiences and leading business transformations in the country with a strong focus on customer, innovation, and sustainability.

Patrick Gillespie serves as Buenos Aires Bureau Chief for Bloomberg. Recently, he was an economics and government reporter covering Argentina’s economic crisis, political upheaval and historic IMF regulations. Prior to joining Bloomberg, Gillespie was an economics writer at CNNMoney. He interned at McClatchy, Mashable and the Philadelphia Inquirer. Gillespie has a B.A. in journalism and history from the University of Delaware and a M.A. in journalism from the City University of New York.
