The fintech industry, which was rapidly evolving and becoming a leading contributor to the region’s development and stability, is quickly emerging as a key player in Latin America's post-pandemic reconstruction. Although online transactions in the region have risen and evolved, they have yet to reach the large unbanked and underbanked population where just 54 percent of adults have a bank account.
