AS Performance Series
AS Performance Series
To contribute to the institution’s history as a performance art venue and continue to highlight the relevance of performance in our program, Art at Americas Society presents AS’ Performance Series. Conceived in 2019, this series of programs aims at promoting performance art by providing an event space to showcase artists that work in performance. Starting with Ana Mazzei and Regina Parra’s Ophelia, Art at Americas Society has since incorporated performance into our programming in order to emphasize the importance of performance art.
Upcoming Performances:
The performance will be the next presentation of Art at Americas Society's Performance Series, in collaboration with Music of the Americas.
The Chilean and Mapuche artist will deliver a debut performance as part of Art at Americas Society's Performance Series.
Art at Americas Society presents a special performance of “Visit to See the Monkey and Other Childhood Stories” followed by a conversation.
The Argentinian artist conducted an in-person performance as a part of Art at Americas Society's Performance Series.
Americas Society presented on October 5 the performance Ophelia by Brazilian artists Ana Mazzei and Regina Parra.

During the exhibition of Sylvia Palacios Whitman: To Draw a Line with the Body, Palacios Whitman delivered a series of live performances at Americas Society in New York.
