Director for Latin America, Wayra
Mariano Amartino is director for Latin America at Wayra. He has over 12 years of experience working with internet companies and has a decade of experience as an entrepreneur, focusing on new media. In 2013, Amartino joined Wayra, Telefónica's global start-up accelerator, as the head of Latin America, where he manages a portfolio of more than 150 companies across seven countries. He is also a consultant, entrepreneur, and blogger at uberbin.net, one of the first Spanish language blogs, where he covers online communities, the internet, and new media topics.

Cate Ambrose is president and executive director of the Latin American Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (LAVCA). She speaks and writes regularly on a range of topics related to public policy and private investment in Latin America and is a regular commentator on CNN En Español. Ambrose is also a special advisor to the board of the Mexican Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (AMEXCAP).

Susan Segal was elected president and CEO of the Americas Society and Council of the Americas in August 2003 after working in the private sector with Latin America and other emerging markets for over 30 years. A passionate supporter of Latin America, she joined the organizations to implement a new strategic plan to renew and return the Society and Council to their historic position. Prior to her current position, she was a founding partner of her own investment and advisory group focused primarily on Latin America and the U.S. Hispanic sector.
Pedro Sirotsky Melzer
Managing Director, eBricks Early Stage
After three years as World Wide Revenue Manager at Apple Online Store in the Bay Area, Mr. Melzer launched and managed Warehouse Investimentos, a Brazilian tech venture capital firm. Previously, he was a serial entrepreneur in the south of Brazil where he started and exited a few ventures in the retail space. Mr. Melzer holds an MBA from Kellogg School of Management.

Benjamin White is the founder, an entrepreneur, and an angel investor of 21212 Digital Accelerator. He is also currently a partner of 77 Ventures and serves on the advisory board member for RecordSetter, a website and media company dedicated to tracking and celebrating human achievement. He previously worked as the chief creative officer at Sling Media and as vice president of Digital Media at MTV Networks. He was also the founder of Complex Media, founder and president of Platform Network, and co-founder and partner of Tagworks.
