Nancy Anderson Bolton was the senior director of the Americas Society/Council of the Americas and head of the AS/COA Miami office, which she opened in 2008. The organizations are the leading voice promoting democratic governance, open markets, and the rule of law in the Western Hemisphere, where the public and private sectors unite to dialogue and advance social and economic development. Anderson Bolton was charged with developing business-relevant public policy programs and strategic partnerships, while driving corporate membership and sponsorship in Miami and throughout Latin America. She initially joined the organizations in 2004, based in New York, and led a restructuring of the corporate relations department, which doubled corporate revenue in only four years.
Anderson Bolton has extensive experience in corporate and financial communications, international relations, strategic engagement, and new business development. Before joining AS/COA, Nancy served as director of investor relations at AT&T Latin America and was vice president for Latin America at two renowned public relations agencies: Citigate Dewe Rogerson and Fleishman-Hillard. At both agencies, she advised large multinationals in Latin America on positioning and marketing their respective investment merits to the international institutional investment community. Notably, she opened an office in São Paulo, Brazil for Citigate Dewe Rogerson in 1998—their first in Latin America. Anderson Bolton began her career in the financial sector at Sanford C. Bernstein & Co., Inc., an investment research and money management firm.
She earned an MBA, with a concentration in marketing and international business from New York University’s Stern School of Business, and a BA in business administration and Spanish and Latin American studies from Flagler College.
