“The pandemic definitely accelerated the move to a virtual world, but this trend existed before the pandemic,” said Martin Migoya during a BRAVO leadership conversation with Susan Segal. His software development company, Globant, has embraced digital transformation since its founding in 2003. “This new reality will be a big push for these technologies to flourish.”

Migoya said that the ecosystem of the region's tech industry is extremely vibrant. “The quality of entrepreneurs that [Argentina] produces is high, despite the hurdles that happen in the country," he said. "If they’re able to survive in Argentina, they can survive anywhere." He highlighted the importance of maintaining an entrepreneurial spirit throughout generations, adding: "I got my entrepreneurial spirit from my father, and now I pass it to my kids."
