On May 1, 2018, three leading economists from Fundación de Investigaciones Económicas Latinoamericanas will discuss Argentina’s economic prospects for the year ahead.

This concert will draw from the experimental chamber music composed in the 1960s by fellows at the Centro Latinoamericano de Altos Estudios Musicales (CLAEM) of the Instituto Di Tella in Buenos Aires.

The April 26 concert celebrates the rich musical contributions of world-renowned Cuban conductor/composer Guido López-Gavilán, with performances by his two sons Ilmar (violin) and Aldo (piano) alongside mezzo-soprano Anna Tonna, pianist Cristina Altamura, percussionists David Degge and Adam Sliwinski (Sō Percussion), and Os Ensemble, led by Raquel Klein.
