Overview

U.S. President Donald Trump's new National Security Strategy places the Western Hemisphere first and promises to "reassert and enforce the Monroe Doctrine," along with a corollary aimed at countering China's influence. One year into Trump's second term, join Americas Society for a discussion examining this "Trump Doctrine" and what this approach means for governments, businesses, and regional stability.

Following the public discussion, there will be a reception with speakers for all Americas Society, Young Professionals of the Americas, and Council of the Americas members. Members also receive early registration and preferential seating. Not a member? Join today.
