Brazilians are voting in a highly polarized race to elect their next president. Incumbent Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and Senator Flávio Bolsonaro are neck-and-neck in most polls ahead of an expected runoff vote on October 25.
The race has unfolded amid numerous scandals, continued tensions with the Donald Trump administration, and public concerns about crime, inflation and affordability.
