One of the most recent G20 dialogue processes, the Women 20 (W20) is a transnational network that brings together women leaders of civil society and business, entrepreneurs, and think tanks to address the subject of women’s economic participation and empowerment in the G20 objectives.
Within the framework of the 2018 Argentine presidency of the G20, W20 Argentina will focus on four pillars: labor inclusion, financial inclusion, digital inclusion, and rural inclusion.
On March 16, as part of the Women’s Hemispheric Network and the Argentina Series, the Americas Society and Council of the Americas will host W20 leaders from Argentina to discuss the group’s agenda for 2018.

Founder, Susana Balbo Wines
Susana Balbo studied enology at university and graduated cum laude in 1981, becoming the first qualified female enologist in Argentina. With a career in the wine industry of over 30 years, Susana Balbo is certainly the most well-known Argentinian female winemaker. She was elected to be president of ‘Wines of Argentina’ for three terms, and the British magazine Drinks Business included her as one of the ‘50 Most Powerful Women in the Wine World’ in 2012, as well as naming her ‘Woman of the Year’ in 2015.
Regional Marketing Director, GSMA Latin America
Paula Ferrari is the regional marketing director at GSMA Latin America. She joined GSMA in 2014 with the purpose of bringing together the mobile industry’s social responsibility efforts and the Latin American government’s social objectives in the “We Care” campaign. In her current role, Ferrari is responsible for designing and implementing GSMA’s marketing and communications strategies across the region.
Member of the Steering Committee, Grupo Productores del Sur
Paula Marra is a member of the Steering Committee of Grupo de Productores del Sur. She is also the founder and CEO of Matriarca, an organization that aims to develop a system of sustainable rural production and consumption. For 20 years, Marra held different senior positions at Grupo Los Grobo, a leading agribusiness and investment company in Latin America. Currently, she is actively engaged in initiatives such as Nutrición 10 Hambre Cero and Grupo Prisma and serves as a board member of Universidad Torcuato Di Tella ENI Espacio de Negocios Inclusivos.
Andrea Rey is a leading partner at EY Argentina where she is responsible for promoting diversity and inclusiveness. Rey joined EY 33 years ago and has dedicated her career to assisting clients in matters related to audit and advisory. Since 2010, she has led the forensic practice of the firm, helping clients in all types of investigations, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution. As South America’s representative at the inclusiveness advisory council of EY Americas since 2008, Rey has led initiatives that ensure the application of inclusiveness in the firm.
