Bill Rhodes on Bloomberg Radio: President-Elect Biden's Foreign Strategy

"He is going to move very cautiously on China," said the AS/COA chairman emeritus.

William R. Rhodes, AS/COA chairman emeritus, spoke to Bloomberg Radio's Paul Sweeney and Vonnie Quinn about President Trump's impeachment and President-elect Biden's strategy for China.

"I think [Biden] puts a real priority on working with the Chinese," said Rhodes. "I think he recognizes that there’s no quick fix to our trade situation and to some of the other problems. But he’s going to move very cautiously on China."

Rhodes also said that President-elect Biden's administration will want to push the efforts on climate change, strengthen the Atlantic Alliance, be pro-NATO, and reengage allies in Asia more so than the Trump administration did.
