Video Q&A: EY's Tony Sirianni on Gender Parity as a Men's Issue

"One of the lessons I learned is that when women let men off the hook and recognize there is a discomfort, it changes the dynamic completely," says Tony Sirianni, adding that men in leadership should work on mentoring women to reach top positions, but that teams also need to address communication issues. After participating in the AS/COA Women's Hemispheric Network Annual Conference and Networking event on October 9 in New York, Ernst and Young's global trade leader explained in this interview how men can accelerate gender parity in the private sector and help women reach top postions. Sirianni says that the most successful organizations are making the transformation "not only because they have to, but because they really see the benefits of doing so."
