Video: Escalandrum at Americas Society

On Friday, October 5th Escalandrum performed a short set of Piazzolla's music including 'Adios Nonino' and 'Lunfardo'. In addition to this performance a panel discussion featuring Jorge Luis Borges’ widow and longtime friend of Americas Society Maria Kodama, Piazzolla’s grandson Daniel Piazzolla, and Hernán Lombardi, Minister of Culture of the city of Buenos Aires moderated by WQXR’s Terrance McKnight was held to discuss the importance of both Borges and Piazzolla.
