Video: Building the Impact Investing Space in Latin America

Top investors, business leaders, and entrepreneurs joined AS/COA in Miami for a forum on impact enterprise and investing. Private funds to advance social development are growing, especially in areas of microfinance and affordable housing. Speakers explored investment in social ventures targeting development in Latin America and what funders are looking for when making decisions for investment and engagement. “One of the keys of successful enterprise is that you don’t only invest in the idea but also in the entrepreneur,” noted Ignacio González Nappa, chief of international operations at SociaLab.com.
