In the midst of a Brexit, Argentina could almost be considered "a beacon of stability," said Argentine Finance Minister Alfonso Prat-Gay, kicking of the Argentina Investment Conference 2016 on June 24. The minister made the case that Britain's vote to leave the EU won't affect Argentina like it will the developed world.

In conversation with BlackRock CEO Laurence Fink, Prat-Gay highlighted Argentina's progress on the economic policy front since President Mauricio Macri took office, as well as the challenges that remain from the previous government's legacy of false statistics and suppressed inflation.
