En Casa: The Series

Watch hundreds of original performances recorded from musicians' homes across the Americas.

When the pandemic hit and Americas Society was forced to close our 680 Park Avenue building, as happened to venues across the world, we had to find a way to continue to connect with our audiences and support the musicians who are part of our community.

We launched the En Casa (At Home) series, which includes over 200 videos of performances by musicians from around the hemisphere playing joropos, tangos, and bossa novas, baroque dances and contemporary compositions in living rooms, terraces, and empty theaters from New York to Budapest, Montreal, Rio, and Santiago, recorded with phones or creative multi-camera setups.

The series will continue into the future, and you can browse through the performances in the YouTube playlist above and catch up on any you might have missed.

We are very happy to have been able to bring music from their homes to yours almost daily, and give much-needed financial support to the musicians worldwide in doing so. If you would like to join us as we bring this music to life and support these artists and their work, become a member of Americas Society today

You can also watch videos from our other series, Recuerdos (Memories), which features memorable past performances from Americas Society.
