Wanda Weigert is chief brand officer at Globant, where she supervises all global corporate communications, manages the relationships with the press worldwide, internal and external communications strategies, crisis communications, and marketing. She is in charge of Globant’s Stay Relevant department, tasked with enhancing the company’s relations with its clients through thought-provoking guidance on surfing the digital and cognitive revolutions. Within this area, she supervises research, marketing activities, analyst relations, and content production. Weigert’s prime focus now is to position Globant’s brand before the world’s top companies as a digital partner, as well as to its own Globers as the family and the culture continues to grow and globalize. She began at Globant when it was a team of just one hundred people, as a senior consultant in the internet marketing department, before creating and supervising Globant’s communications department. She has participated in Globant’s growth from a small startup to a multinational public company since 2015.
Prior to joining Globant, Weigert worked at Jota Group, a publishing house where she was responsible for the development of corporate communications tools for different multinational customers. She has a bachelor’s degree in communications from Austral University and completed post-graduate studies at the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina.
