Victoria Villaruel
Victoria Villarruel is an Argentine lawyer, writer, activist, and politician who currently holds the position of national deputy. She is the founder of the civil association self-titled "Center for Legal Studies on Terrorism and its Victims" (CELTYV), of which she has been the president since its inception.
In November 2021, she was elected as a national deputy in the legislative elections under the coalition La Libertad Avanza, alongside Javier Milei, who led the list. They entered Congress as deputies for the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. Since July 8, 2022, she has been serving as the President of the Democratic Party of the Province of Buenos Aires. On May 15, 2023, Villarruel's candidacy for Vice President of the Nation alongside Javier Milei was officially announced under the La Libertad Avanza coalition for the 2023 presidential elections.
Victoria Villarruel es una abogada, escritora, activista y política argentina que actualmente ocupa el cargo de diputada nacional. Es fundadora de la asociación civil autodenominada Centro de Estudios Legales sobre el Terrorismo y sus Víctimas (CELTYV), la cual ella preside desde sus inicios.
En noviembre del 2021, fue electa como diputada nacional en las elecciones legislativas en la coalición La Libertad Avanza. Junto a Javier Milei, quien encabezaba la lista. Ingresaron al Congreso como diputados por la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires. Desde el 8 de julio de 2022 se desempeña como presidente del Partido Demócrata de la Provincia de Buenos Aires. El 15 de mayo de 2023 se oficializó la precandidatura a la Vicepresidencia de la Nación de Villarruel junto con Javier Milei por el frente La Libertad Avanza en las elecciones presidenciales de 2023.
