Sarah Barbassa is an indirect taxes partner at EY Brazil. She has been working with Brazilian taxes for more than 20 Years focused on ICMS, IPI, ISSQN, PIS e COFINS and global trade.​

She has extensive experience with tax advisory; participation in due diligences on both seller and buyer sides; identification of tax saving opportunities and negotiation of tax incentives at the federal, state, and municipal levels; evaluation of tax planning structures involving M&A transactions, corporate reorganizations, joint ventures and project finance; litigation experience (drafting, development of strategy, participation in trials, etc).
