Roxana Muñoz is a senior vice president in Moody’s Ratings’ Corporate Finance Group. She is responsible for a diverse portfolio of corporate issuers in Latin America, primarily in Mexico, Colombia and Peru. Her coverage focuses mainly on oil and gas companies, including Pemex and Ecopetrol, as well as petrochemical companies such as Alpek and Orbia. Before joining the Corporate Finance Group, Roxana was an analyst covering infrastructure and sub-sovereign governments in Latin America, experience that broadened her perspective on the interaction between corporate issuers, strategic infrastructure and public-sector entities across the region.

Since joining Moody’s in February 2007, Roxana has developed extensive experience in credit analysis, sector research and rating processes in emerging markets. Prior to Moody’s, she gained financial analysis experience at the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, where she was responsible for the financial analysis of three campuses. She also served as an internal auditor at L’Oréal México. Roxana holds a master's in finance and a bachelor's in accounting and finance (Honors) of Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM). She also studied at St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas.
