Rosi Prado de Holguín
Rosi Prado de Holguín is the minister of tourism of Ecuador. Before assuming her current role, she was the manager and legal representative of AWT SA Group Cinco Continentes Agencia de Viajes y Turismo, general manager at AWT SA Group Ecuador, and general manager of Ecuador: Ocio, viajes y turismo. Prado de Holguín also has experience in the airline industry as a sales manager for American Airlines, manager of Passenger Sales and Cargo at Eastern Airlines, manager of Reservations and Tickets at Braniff International, and commercial manager of TAME, the Airline of Ecuador. She has also previously served as the chair of the Tourism Committee of the Ecuadorian-American Chamber of Commerce, director of Junior Achievement Ecuador, president of the Conventions Bureau of Quito, among others. Prado de Holguín studied architecture at the Universidad Central del Ecuador and linguistics at the Universidad Católica del Ecuador.
Rosi Prado de Holguín es la ministra de turismo desde diciembre 2018. Durante su trayectoria profesional, se desempeñó como gerente y representante legal de AWT SA Group Cinco Continentes Agencia de Viajes y Turismo, gerente general en AWT SA Group Ecuador, y gerente general de Ecuador: Ocio, viajes y turismo. Asimismo, fue gerente de ventas de American Airlines, gerente de ventas de pasajeros y carga de Eastern Airlines, gerente de reservaciones y billetes de Braniff Internacional, y gerente comercial de TAME, línea aérea del Ecuador. Entre su amplia experiencia en materia turística se encuentran importantes posiciones en distintas representaciones, tales como presidenta del Comité de Turismo de la Cámara de Comercio Ecuatoriana-americana, miembro del comité organizador de la Feria de Turismo Travel Latin America (Ecuador), miembro del directorio de la Corporación Metropolitana de Turismo, entre otras. Tiene estudios en arquitectura por la Universidad Central del Ecuador y lingüística por la Universidad Católica del Ecuador.
