Rosa María Flores-Aráoz studied Economics at Universidad de Lima and holds a master's degree in Applied Economics from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Flores-Aráoz, who has also taught at her alma mater, has 25 years of experience in the electricity sector—an industry where few women hold leadership roles. She has been the company's CEO since 2015, after serving as Deputy General Manager for the previous five years.
