
Rosa María Ángel de Frade
Rosa María is the Director of Corporate Affairs at Grupo Mariposa, a leading multinational in the food and beverage industry, where she drives the company’s ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) agenda and oversees Strategic Communications and Institutional Relations at a corporate level. With a background in Psychology from the Rafael Landívar University and the Complutense University of Madrid, she holds a Master’s Degrees in strategic management and international Compliance (Universidad del Valle) and in Business Analytics and Data Management (INCAE Business School).
She serves on the Boards of Fundación AYUVI—supporting Guatemala’s Pediatric Oncology Unit, recognized as a Center of Excellence—and Funcagua, dedicated to protecting the water basins of the Metropolitan District of Guatemala. She is also a member of the Steering Committee of the Latin American Chapter of the International Council of Beverage Associations (ICBA).
From 2008 to 2012, she served as a Member of Congress of the Republic of Guatemala, where she held leadership positions in the Women’s Commission and the Transparency Commission, and was the driving force behind landmark legislation on women’s rights, public information access, transparency in parliamentary management, counterfeit medicine prevention, and environmental education.
