
Ralph Davidson
Ralph Davidson is the chief equity strategist for Itaú Private Bank International. He joined Banco Itaú in January 2008 and is responsible for creating, maintaining and disseminating the bank's view of global equities. Prior to joining Banco Itaú, Mr. Davidson spent six years in HSBC's Private Bank Investment Group, including three years as the head of investment strategy for the Private Bank in the Americas. While at HSBC, he was a member of the U.S. Investment Policy Committee and the Global Investment Strategy Committee. Mr. Davidson began his career in corporate finance including three years with Smith Barney as an analyst and one year with Chase Securities as an associate. He is a volunteer within the Junior Achievement program, teaching the Global Market Place to high school students in New York and an alumni interviewer for the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Davidson has a Master's degree in Business Administration with a dual major in Finance and Accounting from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania.
