He currently serves as interim country manager for AWS Chile and head of technology for AWS's South of Latin America (SOLA) region, where he partners with enterprise leaders to turn technology adoption into tangible business results, helping build Latin America's fastest-growing AWS region.

At AWS, his teams have supported the region's most important strategic initiatives, from overseeing investments of over $4 billion to guiding the region's largest customers through cloud and AI transformations. Before joining AWS, Rafael spent 11 years in consulting focused on innovation at IBM Brazil and Mexico, giving him a combination of technical depth, regional expertise, and strategic vision.
