Marcelo Ribeiro de Oliveira

Federal Prosecutor

Marcelo Ribeiro de Oliveira is a Brazilian federal prosecutor, a position he has held since 2006. He has carried out several complex investigations and prosecutions related to corruption and money laundering. Currently, Ribeiro de Oliveira is part of the Car Wash Task Force in Curitiba and the Money Laundering Group of the Federal Prosecution Service. He is a member of the Brazilian delegation in the OECD’s Working Group on Bribery and is a peer reviewer in the Phase 4 evaluation of Mexico and the Phase 1 evaluation of Peru. Ribeiro de Oliveira was a member of the Brazilian Prosecutor General’s Office from 2017-2019 as one of the prosecutors responsible for the investigation and prosecution of criminal cases related to high authorities before the Supreme Court. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Brasília, from which he also received a master of laws degree. Ribeiro de Oliveira is currently a PhD candidate in law at Lisbon University in Portugal (thesis presented, public reading pending).
