Josué Christiano Gomes da Silva is the President of the Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo — FIESP and the First Vice President of the Center of Industries of the State of São Paulo — CIESP for the 2022–2025 term. He is also the president of Coteminas, a leader in the bed and bath segment, with industrial units in several countries across the Americas. He is active in various industry organizations, serving as a Member of the Board of the Institute for Studies on Industrial Development — IEDI, where he served as president from 2005 to 2009. He is an Honorary President and Permanent Member of the Superior Council of the Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association — ABIT, having presided over the entity from 2005 to 2007. 

He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1986) and in Law from Milton Campos Law School (Belo Horizonte — MG, 1987). In 1989, he was awarded the “Gold Medal” (Founder’s Medal) from Vanderbilt University in the United States, where he completed his MBA.
