Vice President, Tech Disruptors, JP Morgan

Jorge Setoain is a vice president at JP Morgan Mexico, as part of the New Business Development Team, he leads the Tech Disruptors Vertical working with founders, startups, VCs and LPs of the tech ecosystem. Jorge strives to drive connectivity for prospects and clients across JP Morgan’s ecosystem and Lines of Business, creating unique network effects. 

Prior to joining JP Morgan, he was a Private Wealth Advisor at Silicon Valley Bank in NYC, where he worked with Founders and General Partners of VC and PE funds in NY, Miami and Latam. Prior to joining SVB, he was an Associate Banker, VP at Citi Private Bank’s Institutional Clients Group, covering ultra-high net worth individuals and Family Offices in Mexico. He started his Private Banking career at Morgan Stanley as a Wealth Advisory Associate in New York. In 2014, he moved from Spain to New York to join 32 Advisors a cross border advisory firm. He began his career at the American Chamber of Commerce in Spain. 

Jorge earned his bachelor’s degree in international business and marketing from ESCI-Universitat Pompeu Fabra and is currently studying the Venture Capital and Private Equity Executive Education program at Columbia Business School.
