Jorge Rosenblut
Jorge Rosenblut is chairman of the board of Endesa Chile, a member of the Endesa Spain International Committee and serves on the board of Ripley, a leading retail department store chain in Chile and Peru. Previously, he served as chairman of the board of Chilectra, the electric distribution arm of Enersis Group. Rosenblut also served as representative of SunLife Financial (Canada) participating in financial and investment control of one of the largest pension funds in Chile. He was also member of the board and executive committee of AFP Cuprum. Rosenblut served in the public sector as under-secretary of the Presidency of Chile and as under-secretary of Telecommunications. He was awarded the “Business Person of the Year Award” from the Chile-U.S. Chamber of Commerce and earned a “Spirit of Telecommunications Award” from AT&T in 1995. Additionally, Rosenblut was named one of the 95 most influential and innovative leaders in Chile by Qué Pasa, a Chilean magazine. He holds a degree in industrial civil engineering from the Universidad de Chile and a Master’s degree in public administration from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
Jorge Rosenblut es presidente de la junta de Endesa Chile, miembro del Comité Internacional de Endesa España y miembro de la junta de Ripley, una cadena de grandes almacenes en Chile y Perú. Anteriormente, fungió como presidente de la junta de Chilectra, la división de distribución eléctrica del Grupo Enersis. El Sr. Rosenblut también fue represéntate de SunLife Financial (Canada), y participo en control de finanzas e inversión de uno de los fondos de pensión más grandes de Chile. También fue miembro de la junta y comité ejecutivo de AFP Cuprum. El Sr. Rosenblut trabajo en el sector público como subsecretario de la Presidencia de Chile y también como subsecretario de Telecomunicaciones. Fue otorgado con el premio “Business Person of the Year” de la Cámara de Comercio de Chile-EE.UU y también con el premio “Spirit of Telecommunications Award” de AT&T en 1995. Adicionalmente, el Sr. Rosenblut fue nombrado uno de los 95 líderes más influénciales e innovadores en Chile por la revista Chilena Qué Pasa. Es licenciado en ingeniería civil industrial de la Universidad de Chile y tiene una Maestría en administración publica del Kennedy School of Government en Harvard University.
