Ignacio Podestá Castro is a senior executive with an extensive background in corporate administration, process consulting, and regional operations leadership, specializing in the design, development, and management of world-class Global Business Services (GBS) organizations.

At Cencosud, one of Latin America's largest retail groups, he founded and built the Global Business Services organization from the ground up, growing it into one of the region's largest regional operations—750 professionals delivering services across 7 countries in Latin America and the United States. Under his leadership, the center was recognized among the Top 20 Best Global Business Services organizations globally by SSON (Shared Services & Outsourcing Network) in both 2024 and 2025. His tenure was marked by a sustained track record of operational efficiency, digitalization, and automation across all service towers.

Prior to Cencosud, Ignacio held leadership roles at Grupo Arcor, one of Latin America's leading FMCG companies, where he led the implementation of Oracle Financials and drove administrative process standardization across regional subsidiaries. Earlier in his career, he built a strong foundation in process consulting at Deloitte Argentina, advising clients across industries including Oil & Gas, Consumer Goods, and Financial Services on ERP implementations, internal controls, and organizational redesign.

His expertise spans Operational Transformation, RPA, Artificial Intelligence, Agentic AI, and Process Improvement, with a proven ability to partner with top-tier global consulting firms on strategic initiatives. He has been a speaker at leading industry events, including SAP and BluePrism RPA forums.

Ignacio holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA). He is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. After more than 17 years in the retail industry, he returns to consulting as Associate Director at Enta Consulting, bringing his operational expertise and regional leadership experience to help organizations build and transform.
