Gregory "Greg" Romero is Senior Vice President, Mexico Natural Gas since July, 2024. In this role, Greg has the overall responsibility over TC Energy business in Mexico, ensuring the operational excellence and sustainable growth of this Business Unit. TC Energy is the largest Canadian investor in Mexico with approximately USD $11 billion of assets. Mr. Romero is a Senior executive with nearly 30 years of domestic and international experience in the midstream and upstream energy sectors, having led commercial and legal teams in pipelines, marketing and trading, regulatory compliance, operations and commercial law in the U.S., Mexico, South America and the Middle East. He joined TC Energy in 2022 as Vice-President of U.S. and Mexico Pipelines Law. Prior to joining TC Energy, led the legal department supporting the Midstream and Marketing Division of Occidental Petroleum Corporation, as well as held the role of President and General Manager of a Latin American business unit of Occidental Petroleum. Mr Romero is a Juris Doctor from the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA). He holds a double degree in Latin American Studies and Spanish from the Oberlin College and is a fluent Spanish speaker.
