Germán Alvarez is the Country Manager of Pluspetrol for operations in Ecuador and Peru, overseeing one of the region’s most significant energy projects, Camisea.

With over two decades of experience in the hydrocarbons industry, Alvarez has held key operational roles at Pluspetrol since joining the company in 2000. He holds a Petroleum Engineering degree from Universidad de Cuyo in Argentina and has completed executive training in Managerial and Leadership Development at Universidad Austral.
