Gerardo Martínez
Gerardo Martínez is the Managing Director of North Latin America and the Caribbean for Amazon Web Services. He has occupied the role since January of 2024. Previously, at AWS, he served as the Regional Head of North Latin America and the Caribbean (NOLA) from January 2023 to January 2024. Prior to that he was the Head of the Central American, Caribbean, and Andean Region. He worked in this position from December 2017 to January 2023.
Before joining the team at AWS, Martínez was the President and Managing Partner of C2S Consulting from January 2004 to November 2017. He was also the Vice President of the Northern Region of Latin America at the Oracle Corporation from December of 1997 to December 2003. Gerardo Martínez is currently a member of the World Presidents Organization and a Regional Chair for the Young Presidents Organization.
Gerardo Martínez actualmente se desempeña como Director General de América Latina y el Caribe Norte de Amazon Web Services, un cargo que ha ocupado desde enero de 2024. Anteriormente, en AWS, se desempeñó como director regional de América Latina y el Caribe Norte (NOLA) desde enero de 2023 hasta enero de 2024. Gerardo Martínez es actualmente miembro de la Organización Mundial de Presidentes y Presidente Regional de la Organización de Jóvenes Presidentes.
